"Exhibition is all about capturing the attention of the audience" To start from the beginning when an exhibition is being planned, a strategy needs to be created to be able to think for what needs to be done, how, when and why. The main job of an exhibition is to capture the attention of the audience. Some do a very huge mistake to bombard the audience with a bunch of information that they really do not need or won't even remember.
For the audience to actually come and visit you need to use attractive decorations and an important, a very important thing is to be innovative. Why should the exhibition be 2D, why not include 3D effects, or carved out materials like wood and metal. One can also use different methods to keep the audience entertained bu using animated images, projections on wall or on models that you built and so on. Include interactivity, the audience could get bored easily if they have to just watch. Why not let them use their senses of touch, eyesight, feeling, hearing and emotions? Nowadays many different apps exist or could be created with ease and also one can use social media as it is a very powerful tool. Whenever I went to an exhibition I would always end up with alot of flyers and print material in my hands which frankly most of them would end up in the trash as i would not need them. I think a very good way to overcome this issue is to develop an app which can be used for the sole purpose of the exhibition and transfer all the info about different stands and exhibits from their smartphones or tablets with one tap. Many things contribute to design a successful exhibition which entertains the audience and keeps remembered for being fun and also interesting. An exhibition is an organised event or presentation designed to demonstrate and display the work and projects of individual artist or of different artists from different backgrounds and genres. Exhibitions are mostly used in museums, galleries, or world fairs. The installations, smell, sound, decorations, atmosphere, colors and the theme are the major factors what defines an exhibition. |
