Daniel did the invitation. He did a textured paper with a scanned flower on it and the invite printed on transparent paper which lets the flower and textured paper show. I thought that the idea was really good.
After the first presentation the Lecturers suggested that we take off the flower and leave it simple. So instead we did an image that represents a specific course with all the info inside. We planned to distribute maps during the exhibition so the audience can use it on the exhibition events. For this we planned an information booth to be set up beneath the stairs so people can ask for information and also get a map or freebies.
Yasmin took care of the way finding and I think it is a very good idea to make the signs large so people can see them easily and from far.
We decided to do some freebies to give out to the audience on the exhibition days. Jeanette took care of the mock ups and their design.
I managed to complete the gifs and fix them for the final presentation in front of the lecturers.
These are the finished animated gifs. In order to finish the gifs I spent a couple of days as some of them I had to fix in Photoshop as they were not sliced correctly thus I had to do them again myself. Also animating them takes quite the time as to get the best result as I had to be sure and check small details that they where working correctly.
As we where running out of time we decided to meet up on a Saturday. We went to Manuel's apartment and talked about what kind of marketing we will be doing, freebies we might want to give, potential sponsors and also some materials we would need. We also thought about how we were going to do the way finding system and how to implement it. We also discussed how we where going to distribute the classes and different groups.
After some consideration we decided to remove the expo from our logo since sometimes it wasn't even showing and it didn't make sense to keep it there.
We all agreed on the idea and this is the result. |
